Why should the quality of one's stay depend on insurance status?
With our new promotional video, we want to ask exactly this question.
For us, good medicine doesn’t begin with treatment—it starts with the environment in which people recover. Lighting, materials, acoustics, wayfinding, and a home-like atmosphere influence patients’ well-being just as much as they do our employees’ work.
That’s why our film deliberately showcases two different worlds: the Waldkliniken Eisenberg as an example of a modern primary care concept and the University Hospital of Cologne with its premium rooms.
Both projects share the same goal: to create spaces where people feel safe, valued, and well cared for.
We are convinced that healing architecture should not be a privilege. A high quality of stay should be possible regardless of whether a patient has public or private health insurance. Of course, there will continue to be differences in comfort amenities in the future. But a healing environment, good lighting, high-quality materials, and a well-thought-out design should benefit all patients.
Our film illustrates precisely this approach—and highlights how architecture, medical technology, and lighting can collectively contribute to a more humane healthcare system.
