Hygiene starts with the design – how flush-mounted supply units make all the difference

 For architects and hospital operators, hygiene in hospitals is a key issue—and often a planning factor that is addressed too late or in too abstract a manner. Yet the design of the medical supply units alone determines how clean and safe a patient room actually remains. 

Traditional solutions with protruding outlets, switches, or components create edges and crevices where dirt and germs can accumulate. These areas are difficult to clean, increase the effort required for cleaning, and raise the risk of infection.
