"plano" consists of right-angled extruded aluminium supply profiles in two depths, matching equipment rail profiles and lights with translucent extruded acrylic-satin light covers. All the necessary electric sockets and communications connections, medical gas outlets and general and reading lights are integrated in a highly-flexible modular system. High and low voltage cables and medical gas supply lines are kept isolated from each other. A special feature is the space-saving  placing of electrical supply elements and medical gas outlets in one aluminium channel, yet keeping them separated from each other. This facilitates highly slim and restrained solutions. This system is adapted to the flush installation of the elements of the Gira System 55 programme. Simple fitting and maintenance of the electrical components via the removable covers. "plano" combines restrained elegance with the level of functionality and robustness required by medical use. Its integrative form with flat surfaces makes it especially easy to clean.
